Mom update
Mom went to the doctor today. She's got bad arthritis in both knees to start with. She got in for an MRI tomorrow to see if stuff is torn and then back to the doc on Wednesday. So at least everything is getting fast action.
The MRI is scheduled so that I don't have to take off work to take Alex to the dentist. Poor dad, however, is totally stuck as a taxi driver. Good thing he has summers off or this would be such a mess.
I am just mostly keeper of company and supplier of entertainment. I gave Alex some DVDs and books for his recovery and am going to stop by after work tomorrow to see how he's doing.
