Curtains
Gah, being sick sucks. You think you're finally feeling better and then bam! utterly cruddy again. Blech. No more of this, I decree.

On a happier note, JC Penney's catalog outlet store is the best place ever to get curtains. My front sheers are getting a little beaten up looking (one too many cat slap-fights through them (Lyta is confused by solids yet transparent objects sometimes)). Mom and I looked at fabric to make some and holy cripes that was expensive, most of it twenty dollars a yard, and with a big picture window, that gets real pricey real fast. I got a curtain catalog in the mail, but that was even more pricey. Instead, Penney's and 3 sheers for thirty, plus two sets of pinch-pleat lined curtains (which are damned near impossible to find anywhere lately, not the style I guess) for my big bedroom window for 24. And they're nice looking and everything, probably last year's catalog left-overs, but I'm not all that stylish and well, they're curtains. So I'm happy about that, quite the productive shopping day.

I also had excellent grilled tuna with tomatillo and avocado salsa at my favorite Mexican place, so I suppose it was overall a good day. I just get tired of feeling worn and wrong. So, in hopes of fixing that, gonna try a radical solution, early bedtime on a weekend. Pictures of the purse I crocheted for mom coming soon.
